I remember when I was younger that there was always rumor that clint Eastwood should play Judge Dredd. This looked very apt as Dredd has always been drawn that way and he even has that Dirty Harry feel to him. Now we have a new Dredd with kiwi Karl Urban and it looks like he is playing Eastwood playing Dredd. The trailer is good and it shows how damn corny the dialogue is but I think it is a credit to Urban that he actually pulls of the “ I am the law “lines.
This trailer was up against the new animation from Fox called Epic. Now Epic was winning at first with its graphics and epic style music and then it takes it stupid turn and starts getting goofy in the last seconds. It totally through me off and then Dredd won.
