It is 0330 in the morning here but I am so very excited.I NEED TO SEE MORE!!! MORE!!MORE!! QUICK, WATCH THE BRILLIANTLY UNDERSTATED TRAILER BELOW!! I can't sleep now!!
UPDATE UPDATE-I HAVE ADDED THE NEW TRAILER AS WELL YYYYYAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY!!!! The only difference is that Russell crowe is narrating one and Kevin Costner the other but it's cool as you see it from the points of views of Superman's fathers. I love this so much
My brother and I have been counting the days until yesterday with the Warner Bros panel that would give us a Man of steel teaser trailer. But whilst one was shown at Comic Con no actual trailer has been released. According to a projectionist friend of mine the actual trailer is sitting encrypted with the Dark Knight rises film so we will have to wait until Thursday to see the man in the red cape. I was on the verge of tears as I learned yesterday that we would not see the trailer and after seeing some ridiculous hand held one (which is not worth showing here) I regretted it immediately and will wait patiently until a high def one appears.
Luckily we have received a new poster. The first one is a bit boring as it just rehashes the symbol we have already seen but the 2nd poster is brilliantly teasing. According to my brother ,who had an actual countdown on his phone, told me that eth poster is meant to set the tone for the film as dark and gritty. A man dealing with his identity but there is also a ray of light and therefore hope. Whether that is over reading the poster or spot on, I am damn excited to see this trailer and I think Snyder will pull this one out of the bag.
Here is the plot and I will add the trailer when it comes:
In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Henry Cavill) is a young twenty-something journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond his imagination. Transported years ago to Earth from Krypton, a highly advanced, distant planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question ‘Why am I here?’ Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Diane Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner), Clark discovers having extraordinary abilities means making difficult decisions. When the world is in dire need of stability, an even greater threat emerges. Clark must become a Man of Steel, to protect the people he loves and shine as the world’s beacon of hope – Superman.
